The first Ringwood Brewery Weymouth ale trail which ran from June to August 2011 has proved a huge success. 10 pubs in total took part in the ale trail including The Boot, which is reputed to be the oldest and most haunted pub in Weymouth and The Nothe Tavern, which has become known as a venue for excellent food and of course real ale.

Mr Cottee from New Milton was in Weymouth with his wife and said 'Nice Diversity of pubs on the ale trail from The Queens Hotel to the Black Dog. Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend' His wife Mrs B Cotte added 'Actually it was our anniversary weekend away with no children, so thoroughly enjoyable'.
Tracey Turnbull, Ringwood's Assistant Brand Manager said 'I'm really pleased with how well it was received. I'm really looking forward to running it again next year during the Olympic Games when Weymouth hosts the sailing events'
The Weymouth Ale Trail will be running again next June, keep an eye out on Face Book nearer the time and download the 2012 Weymouth Ale Trail map!
